The Certified Nursing Assistant & Phlebotomy Technician program is 180 -clock hours hybrid course. This stackable program provides students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to excel in both nursing assistant and phlebotomy roles. Students will first gain foundational training in long-term care and personal care techniques, including infection control, communication, and resident rights. The second component of the program focuses on specialized training in phlebotomy, including safe blood collection procedures, infection prevention, and patient interaction. Upon successful completion, students will be prepared to work in various healthcare settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) & Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
Upon successful completion of the stackable Nursing Assistant & Phlebotomy Technician program, students will be able to:
Week 1: Introduction to Long-Term Care and CNA Basics

Week 2: Resident Care and Personal Hygiene

Week 4: Specialized Care and End-of-Life Care

Week 5: Job Search, Home Care, and Clinical Placement

Week 3: Complications, Pediatric Phlebotomy, and Certification Prep

o Pediatric and infant blood collection techniques
